Request a repair.
Not all repairs are our responsibility. It is important to know what type of repair you can request. As we are a Not for Profit organization, here at Affix Housing, we prioritize different types of repair, and each type has a different timeframe of completion.
Emergency Repairs
Urgent
Non-Urgent
Emergency Repairs
We do our best to respond to Emergency repairs within 48 hours of them being reported. Types of Emergency repairs:
- Burst pipes
- Gas Leaks
- Loss of electricity/ power cut
- Loss of Heating
Urgent
We aim to respond to Urgent repairs within 7 working days of them being reported. Types of Urgent repairs are:
- Plumbing leaks
- Water heating
- Light electrical faults
- Pest Control
Non-Urgent
Non Urgent repairs can take up to 28 working days of them being reported. These include, but not limited to:
- Plumbing: minor leaks
- Damp repair
- Sink or Cupboards
Types of repair that are not our responsibility are:
- Electrical: Bulb changes, Domestic appliances
- Plumbing: Drains (baths and hand basins)
- Decoration (interior and exterior)
- Fixtures and fittings (e.g. curtains, coat hooks)
